Candidates applying for this recruitment will have to go through the 2 stage selection process. The Delhi Police Constable Selection Process 2021 will be based on:

The Computer Based Test will be of 100 marks in total which will have questions based on General Knowledge/Current Affairs, Reasoning, Numerical Ability and Computer Awareness. All the questions will be objective type and the candidate will get one and a half hours to attempt these questions. All questions will be of 1 mark each wherein negative marking of 0,25 will be applicable for every wrong answer. The question paper will be both in English and Hindi language.

Candidates who clear the CBT i.e. computer-based test will be shortlisted for the PET i.e. Physical Endurance Test. Candidates will be tested based on activities like Race, Long Jump, and High Jump. This Delhi Police Constable Physical Measurement Test shall be taken only of those candidates who qualify the Physical Endurance Test. Candidates who are residents of Hill areas (like Gorkhas, Dogras, etc) will be given certain relaxations the details of which are given below.

- 5 cm (165 cm) in case of sons of either serving, retired or deceased Delhi Police personnel/ Multi-Tasking Staff of Delhi Police.
For Female Candidates: Height Measurement Relaxable by
- 2 cm (i.e. 155cm) for residents of Hill areas i.e. Garhwalis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Kumaonis, Marathas and candidates belonging to states of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh

Note: The relaxation will be extended to the sons/daughters of only those Delhi Police personnel/Multi-Tasking Staff, who have not been awarded the punishment of dismissal/removal /termination or compulsory retirement by way of penalty. The certificate of 11th pass (produced by the wards of Delhi Police personnel for getting relaxation in education) must be accompanied by a marks-sheet. If the 11th class pass certificate does not contain the detailed marksheets of the 11th class final examination then a separate marks certificate should be produced by the candidates at the time of checking of documents.
