Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) is responsible for conducting the recruitment exams for various posts under several departments of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCT of Delhi). DSSSB recruitment exams are conducted every year to fill vacancies for the posts of PGT, TGT, Assistant Teacher (Primary), Assistant Teacher (Nursery), Counselor, Jr. Secretariat Assistant (LDC), Head Clerk, Patwari, JE, AE, and others. The board announces various vacancies every year for different posts through the release of an official notification. Interested candidates can submit their applications for a particular post after ensuring that they fulfil the DSSSB eligibility criteria.

The DSSSB has released six notifications so far in 2022- 01/22, 02/22, 03/22, 04/22, 05/22 and 06/22. The board seeks to fill a total of 1,046 vacancies under these six notifications in various departments of the Delhi Government including Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC), Delhi Jal Board (DJB), Delhi Archives, Women & Child Development (WCD), North Delhi Municipal Corporation (North DMC), East Delhi Municipal Corporation( East DMC), New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) and others. How to Apply Online for DSSSB Recruitment 2022?

Given below are the steps to apply for the DSSSB Recruitment 2022:

Step 1: Online Registration Process or Login

• Visit the official website of DSSSB.
• Click on the link ‘DSSSB Recruitment Online Application’.
• Register yourself by filling up the required details such as the Name, Date of Birth, email address and mobile number.
• On successful registration, the candidate will receive the registration number and password.

Step 2: Filling up the Application Form

• Login using the registration number and password.
• Fill up the application form giving out the personal, category, educational, and job experience details.
• Recheck the details carefully.

Step 3: Upload the Documents & Fee Payment

• Upload the scanned copies of the latest passport-size photograph and signature of the candidate in the format specified.
• Review the application form after filling out all of the required fields.
• Click the ‘Submit’ button.
• Pay the application fees online via SBI e-pay option.
• Take a printout of the application form for future references.

DSSSB Eligibility criteria vary as per the post a candidate applies for under the official notification. However, the basic parameters that candidates need to fulfil in order to meet DSSSB eligibility 2022 for different posts are given below:

The DSSSB selection process usually consists of three stages- Tier I, Tier II and Skill Test. It should be noted that the Tier II test and Skill Test may not be valid for all the posts recruited under the DSSSB recruitment process. Tier-I Exam

• The Tier-I exam involves two sections.
• Section I involves objective-type questions on general awareness, general intelligence and reasoning ability, arithmetical and numerical ability, and Hindi/English Language and Comprehension.
• Section B involves post specific subject related questions.

Tier-II Exam

• The Tier-II exam comprises both the objective and the descriptive type of questions.
• The Tier-II exam also has two sections.
• Section A sections are similar to that of Tier-I and involve objective-type questions.
• Section B involves descriptive-type questions on the post related subject.
• The difficulty level of the questions is higher in this round.

Skill / Endurance Test

• The selection criteria for some posts also involves a Skill test.
• The skill test is conducted in accordance with the requirements of the post.

DSSSB exam pattern 2022 is fixed by the board for the selection of candidates for the vacant posts. While some posts are filled through one tier exam, some are filled through the two-tier exams. The DSSSB exam pattern is divided into three stages – One Tier exam, Two-Tier exam (comprising Tier-I and Tier-II) and Skill Test. In the DSSSB exam, one mark is allotted for every correct answer and there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

Tier-I question paper pattern: Tier-I question paper contains 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs) of 200 marks. Candidates need to complete the paper in a duration of two hours. The DSSSB Tier-I question paper is divided into two sections as explained in the table below:

Tier-II question paper pattern: The tier-II paper contains a total of 202 objective and descriptive questions in the exam. The total weightage for the tier-II exam is 250 marks and candidates need to complete the paper in a duration of three hours. Have a look at the pattern:
