SBI Clerk Prelims Result 2021:

SBI Clerk Preliminary Exam consisted of three sections. This exam was of total of 100 marks, and the time duration was given 60 minutes. Candidates will be selected for main examination on the basis of merit marks obtained in preliminary examination. On the basis of the Prelims exam, candidates will be able to qualify for SBI Clerk Mains Exam, and the marks obtained in this exam is not used for the final merit list. About 10 times more candidates than the total number of vacancies will be selected for the main examination

SBI Clerk Mains Result 2021

Only those candidates who have secured the minimum qualifying marks in the Preliminary Examination will be able to appear in SBI Clerk Main Examination. Four sections will be included in the main examination. The exam will be of 200 marks and its time duration is 2 hours 40 minutes. SBI prepares the merit list of the main exam. Candidates are required to obtain a minimum percentage of aggregate marks in the main examination. Apart from this, a relaxation of 5 percent in the minimum qualifying marks is provided to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ XS categories.

SBI Clerk Language Proficiency Test

Candidates whose names will appear in the merit list of SBI Clerk Main Written Examination will be called for Language Proficiency Test. Candidates who have studied the chosen local language in class 10th and 12th are not required to appear in this exam, otherwise it will be mandatory to appear in this exam. Candidates who do not qualify in any particular language will be disqualified

SBI Clerk Final Result 2021

State Bank of India will release the final result after conducting the language proficiency test for the candidates who have qualified in SBI main written examination. The list of selected candidates for the post of SBI Clerk will be prepared on the basis of their performance in the Language Proficiency Test. After this, the state and district will be allotted to the selected candidates.

SBI Clerk Result Waiting List

  • SBI maintains a waiting list of up to 50% of the vacancies state-wise and category-wise during all kinds of recruitment processes.
  • If the selected candidates do not join their post, then the candidates are provided appointments from the waiting list on a quarterly basis.
  • SBI selects only those candidates from the waiting list who have secured minimum marks in the main examination.
  • This waiting list is valid for a period of one year from the date of declaration of final result

Tie-Breaking Policy in SBI Clerk Result 2021

If in any case, two or more candidates get the same marks, then it is decided by tie. The tie is resolved by the following way.

  • Firstly the candidates belonging to the reserved category like SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH are considered.
  • If the tie still persists, then the candidate with the least number of wrong answers in all the subjects is selected.
  • If the tie continues after this, then the candidate who is older in age is considered.
