Children & Parent/Guardian Privacy
Scholars SSC Academy may receive enquiries relating to school-age students. Under the Indian DPDP framework, a child is a person under 18 years of age.
Parent/guardian-first approach
If an enquiry concerns a child, the preferred route is for a parent or lawful guardian to provide the contact details and make the enquiry. Protected forms can ask whether the submitter is an adult student, a parent/guardian, or a student below 18.
Parental consent and verification
Where processing requires verifiable parental consent, a declaration alone may not always be enough. This plugin records the declaration and verification state; the organisation must configure an appropriate age/identity verification method for the use case before treating the status as fully verified.
Marketing, advertising and tracking
The protected lead-form workflow suppresses optional promotional and advertising/remarketing permissions for a submitter identified as below 18. The organisation should not use this plugin as a basis for behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children.
